ELABORACIÓN DE VISHNIK
Mezclar el azúcar con las cerezas y dejar la mezcla toda una noche en un bol, en el frigorífico.
Poner la mezcla, junto con el jugo que haya quedado en el bol (es importante no tirar este jugo) en una o dos botellas de vidrio (según el tamaño) de cuello ancho.
Cubrir las cerezas con el alcohol (ginebra o vodka) y dejar asentar por una hora, aproximadamente). La botella tiene que tener entre dos y tres centímetros (no más) de alcohol sobre el nivel de las cerezas. Dejar reposar, nuevamente, toda la noche. Después, probarlo. Agregar algo de azúcar, si es necesario (esto dependerá del gusto de cada uno y del dulzor de las cerezas utilizadas).
El envoltorio debe ser oscuro. Si las botellas no son de vidrio opaco y oscuro, cubrirlas con papel madera. Luego, guardarlas en un lugar oscuro y fresco (idealmente, una alacena o un modular) por, como mínimo, 6 meses, para dejarlo estacionar. Después de este tiempo, ya se puede tomar.
La espera y la paciencia, realmente, valen la pena.
