5 bolas de pan viejo o 1 flauta de pan viejo desmenuzado
1 huevo
1 taza de azúcar
2 guayabas medianas
1 1/2 taza de leche
1/2 taza de agua
3 cucharadas de nata de leche
1 pizca de sal
1/2 cucharadita de postre de canela molida
ELABORACIÓN
En un recipiente colocamos el pan desmenuzado, a parte cortamos una guayaba en trocitos sin las semillitas y la colocamos en una batidora, junto con la leche y el agua y batimos esta mezcla.
Luego la vertemos sobre el pan para remojarlo y agregamos la nata, con una cuchara vamos tratando de que se remoje bien todo el pan, luego agregamos el azúcar, la canela, la pizca de sal, el huevo, removemos bien.
Después agregamos trocitos bien pequeños de guayaba (con la guayaba restante) la introducimos bien hacia el interior de la mezcla, posteriormente en el recipiente donde cocinaremos el pudín hacemos un caramelo con agua y azúcar.
Luego agregamos la mezcla, tapamos con un papel grueso para que el agua no penetre y lo ajustamos con un cordón, lo colocamos en una olla de presión a baño maría por 40 minutos, y como es habitual al cabo del tiempo introducimos un palillo o cuchillo para comprobar si esta listo.
